Radio

After preaching nightly in the towns of Pampanga, Philippines for more than a decade during the 1970s, Bro. Eli Soriano realized that it would take him many more years just to reach a large part of the country. Back then, radio was a popular medium that can offer the means to carry the voice of Bro. Eli to a wider mileage at a cost cheaper than television.

So in the last quarter of 1980, the Ang Dating Daan radio program was introduced and aired on DWWA 1260 Khz. Produced with a shoe-string budget, the thirty-minute program had allowed Bro. Eli to discuss short bible study lessons.

Thirty years later, Ang Dating Daan would not only be heard through radio, but seen on television, at MCGI’s video streaming websites and via seven satellite carriers transmitting the program and its different translations across the globe.

However, Ang Dating Daan still continues to be heard over radio, especially for those areas in the Philippines beyond the reach of televisions and computers.

Radyo Natin

MCGI takes advantage of Radyo Natin’s 100 stations that can reach more remote locations in the Philippines. Radyo Natin is the biggest radio network in the Philippines. It is found in the FM band where it plays music in the morning. Come 8:30 every evening however, Ang Dating Daan airs until 10 p.m.

UNTV Radyo La Verdad 1350z

Ang Dating Daan, the longest-running religious program in the country officially debuted on October 9, 2011 at UNTV Radyo La Verdad 1350 Khz, formerly DZHQ 1350 Khz. Radyo La Verdad or ‘Truth Radio’ serves as the AM home of UNTV, the Philippines’ public service network, where ADD airs daily.
