Gearing Towards Perfection: MCGI prepares for its Third Quarter Special Thanksgiving

Another three months have passed and the Members Church of God International (MCGI) once again prepares for the quarterly Special Thanksgiving of God’s People. The third quarter celebration is set on September 31 to October 2, 2022, God willing.

With joyful hearts, members from around the world are already preparing to take part in the much-awaited event. In-person gatherings in various places are expected to take place as the Covid-19 restrictions continue to ease up, making the event attendees even more excited as it has been more than 2 years since the pandemic began. Likewise, gatherings via video conferencing will still be available.

Songs of praises, testimonials and stories of faith and amazing biblical topics — these are just some of the things that the congregants look forward to in the upcoming global event.

Time well spent

The organization does not stop in doing good works as commanded by God in Galatians 6:10 (KJV): “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

Just recently, a medical mission was conducted at Leyte Provincial Jail, wherein the inmates received medical attention and some grocery items. But most importantly, they were also imparted with the words of God for their spiritual nourishment.

MCGI was also given the opportunity to serve people from far-flung areas. The indigenous people in Sitio Maruglo, Capas, Tarlac expressed their deepest gratitude to God after receiving free grocery items, medical check-ups, and other relief items which they desperately need.

The MCGI Cares charitable activities such as feeding programs, medical missions, free stores, and clean-up drives are also regularly being held to serve people in various places worldwide.

Non-stop propagation

MCGI continues to broadcast Bible Expositions and Mass Indoctrination sessions in various languages to encourage people to listen to the words of God. Both programs are regularly broadcast through the MCGI Channel on YouTube, so people could listen at the comfort of their homes. At the same time, many MCGI coordinating centers are now open for people who want to attend in person.

Aside from the two aforementioned programs, the MCGI Channel also has Bible Study videos for people who want to listen to a wide array of biblical topics easily.

With the help and mercy of God, thousands of souls around the globe were baptized this quarter through the evangelization efforts of MCGI.

Enriching the spirit through Biblical wisdom

The brethren regularly gather through Prayer Meetings, Worship Services, and Thanksgivings. Observing what Apostle Paul taught in Hebrews 10:25 (KJV): “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

Brother Daniel Razon, MCGI Servant, continues to encourage all brethren to convene and listen to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ to strengthen their faith amidst all the difficulties in life.

Aside from the regular Church gatherings, the brethren also gather virtually in the program Serbisyong Kapatiran (Brotherly Service) hosted by Brother Daniel. Through this, members around the world connect with one another, learn from each other’s experiences, and even have the opportunity to help one another in whatever manner possible. This is just one manifestation that the Church is able to adhere to God’s commandment in Hebrew 13:1 that says: “Let brotherly love continue.”
