With grateful hearts, the brethren looked back on the countless blessings received and the trials overcome together as a congregation. This journey of faith was shared alongside Servant-in-Charge Brother Fred Cabanilla and the provincial servants of Davao Occidental.
Despite the challenges of the times, the brethren have continued to “wield the sword” of the Spirit to conquer malevolence, holding fast to the divine virtues taught in 2 Peter 1:5-7:
“…add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.”
As they grow in faith, they strive for the maturity these words inspire: that with competence comes knowledge; with knowledge, restraint; with restraint, endurance; with endurance, sanctity; and in kindness to a brother, there is the perfection of love.
To God be all the glory!
