A Prayer Fulfilled: MCGI Grants ICT Laboratory to Calumpang Elementary School

On June 27, 2025, a long-prayed-for ICT laboratory at Calumpang Elementary School became a reality, thanks to the Members Church of God International (MCGI) and UNTV News and Rescue. MCGI Overall Servant Brother Daniel Razon led the turnover ceremony at the school grounds in Calumpit, Bulacan.

What was once an old and damaged classroom now serves as a fully equipped and well-ventilated ICT laboratory, furnished with ten (10) desktop computers. Additionally, the washing area was roofed and rehabilitated by MCGI to better serve everyone’s needs.

Mrs. Ellaine Dela Cruz, Principal of Calumpang Elementary School, expressed her gratitude, saying, “Yan pong ICT lab natin ay binuo, ginawa na may buong pagmamahal ng ating mga kasamahan sa MCGI at sa pangunguna ng ating Kuya Daniel Razon. Buong pagmamahal na may ngiti sa labi.” (This ICT laboratory of ours was built with wholehearted love by our brethren in MCGI, led by our Kuya Daniel Razon. With love poured out and smiles on their faces.)

Mr. Aldin Basco, one of the teachers, also thanked MCGI for their support: “Matututo na sila kung paano gumamit ng Microsoft Word, Excel, at PowerPoint presentation na magiging edge nila pagdating nila sa mas mataas na level ng pag-aaral. At gayon din sa aming mga guro, mas mapapadali ang aming pagtuturo ngayon.” (They will now learn how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations, giving them an edge as they move to a higher level of education. And for us teachers, our teaching will now become much easier.)

Barangay Chairman Arnel Faustino of Calumpang conveyed that both he and the community felt deep joy upon hearing about the project. He emphasized the vital importance of having access to computers, especially in today’s modern era.

Brother Daniel Razon, the Overall Servant of MCGI, affirmed that MCGI’s service to the community is rooted in recognizing God’s goodness. Even with limited means, MCGI offers what they can to support—especially for the children and pupils who will benefit from the ICT laboratory.

We, at MCGI, work together to fulfill God’s command to do good whenever we are able. With humility, we offer what we have, honoring the Lord, to whom all glory and highest praise belong.
