On April 3, 2026, the Members Church of God International (MCGI) commenced the first day of its three-day Special Thanksgiving of God’s People. Brethren gathered at the MCGI Chapel in Apalit and across thousands of global coordinating centers to offer a collective sacrifice of praise for the first quarter of the year.

Speaking to the global congregation via video conferencing from Tokyo, Japan, Kuya Daniel Razon, the Overall Servant of MCGI, emphasized the vital importance of rigorous self-examination when partaking of the Lord’s Table. Central to the day’s topic were the themes of spiritual worthiness and performing the will of the Father with a purified heart and full conviction. Kuya Daniel also shared that true spiritual sustenance is found not in literal food, but in the joy of fulfilling God’s commands.

Brother Daniel also highlighted the brotherhood’s unity beyond distance, explaining that MCGI remains one undivided body by “waiting for one another” (I Corinthians 11:33) through a shared spirit and doctrine.

Standing firm in their commitment to serve the Almighty, the brethren in Diplahan, Zamboanga Sibugay, gathered in unity to mark the first day of the First Quarter Special Thanksgiving of God’s People. With joyful hearts, the brotherhood offered sacrifices of praise through songs and dances, thanking the Lord for His immense goodness and the abundant blessings received throughout the first quarter of the year.

The gathering was made even more meaningful by the warm presence of the Region’s Servant-in-Charge, Brother Danny Navales. Together with fellow servants, he joined the brotherhood in this part of Mindanao for this glorious sacrifice of thanksgiving.

As our Overall Servant, Brother Daniel Razon, delivered the biblical topics to the congregation, the brethren listened with deep attention, receiving spiritual nourishment that further strengthened and encouraged them in their journey of faith.

Together with Servants-in-Charge Brother Josel Mallari and Brother Mel Magdaraog, the brethren gathered in a spirit of profound joy, uniting with the wider brotherhood to offer gratitude to the Almighty.

The weekend began with spiritual reflection and timely reminders from MCGI Overall Servant Kuya Daniel Razon. The biblical topic he shared ignited a fervent determination among the Bacolodnon and Negrense brethren to remain steadfast in their service.

The brethren in Madrid, Spain lifted their voices in worship and moved in expressive dances as they joined the global MCGI brotherhood for Day 1 of the Special International Thanksgiving to God on April 3, 2026, at the Locale of Madrid.

Each hymn sung and each step taken was an offering, a heartfelt expression of gratitude from brethren who, despite being far from the congregation’s headquarters in the Philippines, remain deeply rooted in faith and unwavering in devotion.

The occasion was more than just a festival of praise; MCGI Overall Servant Brother Daniel Razon preached God’s message. His message focused on important biblical themes, especially the significance of following God’s instructions.

From Europe to Asia, from the Americas to the Pacific, the message remains the same: obedience to God is the highest form of worship, and thanksgiving is most beautiful when it flows from a life surrendered to His will.

As part of the MCGI brotherhood’s first-quarter Special International Thanksgiving to God, which took place on April 3, 2026, in Ho Chi Minh City, the brethren from Vietnam came together to join brothers from all over the world.

At the start of the gathering, sincere worship songs and expressive dances were performed as a show of thanks from brothers and sisters whose faith knows no language or border. From the very first note to the last step, every offering of praise reflected a deep and genuine reverence for the Almighty.

But the gathering was far more than a celebration of song and dance. The main part of the event was when MCGI Overall Servant Brother Daniel Razon preached God’s words, emphasizing the importance of obeying God’s words.

Being a part of this global thanksgiving was an honor and a lesson for the brothers and sisters in Vietnam. It showed that they remain united with their brothers and sisters around the world in one faith, one goal, and one God.

It is a simple yet beautiful joy to witness brethren dwelling together in unity, offering the fruit of their lips in heartfelt thanks for the mercies received throughout the past three months.

This spirit of harmony is most visible in the children who walk alongside their parents in the path of faithful service. By seeking to perform the will of God together, they remain steadfast in the faith, staying deeply connected to the Head of the Body, our Lord Jesus Christ.
