The day’s program commenced following a heartfelt and meaningful message from Kuya Daniel Razon, the Overall Servant of MCGI. He emphasized the vital importance of prayer, family harmony, and collective support in the service of God.

With the support of Servant-in-Charge Brother Mel Magdaraog and City Servants Brother Arnold Valencia and Brother Sherwin Culubong, the brethren gathered for their first MCGI Family Day in their district. This event served as a true “detoxification day”—a chance for families to set aside gadgets and strengthen spiritual bonds through brotherhood and love.

Families participated in a wide array of activities focused on fitness, games, and friendly competitions. The exciting lineup included a Zumba fitness workout, a cooking contest, Calamansi Relay, sack race, badminton, volleyball, swimming for kids and teens, and more!

The brethren not only engaged in strengthening their physical bodies through the activities and games but, more importantly, fortified their spirits through brotherly bond and love. And no family celebration is complete without good food! Brethren enjoyed luscious free meals like lechon, ice cream, and taho, making the bond even sweeter.

Dedicated to the whole family, the celebration highlighted not only fun and fellowship but also the spirit of compassion and service that MCGI continues to uphold. Filled with songs of praise and heartfelt thanksgiving, the participants practiced the spirit of camaraderie and unity that bonds families in faith, hope, and love—a proactive step to protect the family and encourage generations to remember their Creator.

To God be the glory!
