Compassion in Action: MCGI’s quarterly Feast Dedicated to God: Brethren Day continues to be a helping hand

With great excitement, Members Church of God International (MCGI) is eagerly preparing for another Feast Dedicated to God (Fiesta ng Dios) on October 5, 2023, as part of the Brethren Day celebration. The event starts at 8 in the morning at the MCGI Convention Center in Apalit, Pampanga, kicking off with a colorful parade that sets the mood for a day filled with joy and inspiration.

The quarterly event continues to serve as a platform for compassion and care for the vulnerable sector of our society. The different programs and services offered during the event is just a manifestation of MCGI’s commitment to be of help to our fellowmen regardless of their creed, race, and social status.

One of the event’s notable highlights is a wish-granting program, wherein carefully chosen participants experience how their simple wishes are given fulfillment. These wishes often range from livelihood packages to vital medical aids.

Among the other public services that attendees can avail include free medical checkups with free medicines and supplements, dental and optical services, free meals, goods from the MCGI Free Store, and many more.

These services will, likewise, be replicated in some participating MCGI chapters.  They will also provide the same services to beneficiaries in their respective places, ensuring the widespread impact of this noble endeavor.

With the biblical passage written in Luke 14:13-14 as its core inspiration, this celebration is dedicated to serving and uplifting the disabled and the needy.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

The day after the MCGI Feast Dedicated to God: Brethren Day, MCGI holds the 3rd Quarter Thanksgiving of God’s People, a three-day international event where brethren congregate together to praise and honor the Lord for His enduring love and mercy over the past three months.
