Newly Baptized Testimonials: May 17, 2013

Read short testimonies of faith from some of MCGI’s youngest brethren baptized on May 17, 2013.

Bro. Eugenio San Andres, Former Catholic, Bulacan Province

On Being Baptized
I’ve been listening to Bro. Eli’s teachings since long ago, about 90s or since 1985 even. But it’s only now that I really persisted to join.

I watched it daily. As soon as I arrived home, I tuned in to his program on TV. I listen to it, and I got more interested to join when my two children joined here before me.

Our youngest kept telling us about what’s happening here, so my wife and I got interested.

I’m thankful that I became a member of the Church of God. This is a very great thing for me. I feel good and light. Many sins and heavy problems were taken away from me.

On MCGI Leaders
I hope that their health will be better. And wherever they may be now, though they are not with us, I hope that with the Lord Jesus’s help, they will be kept safe.

Sis. Maria Teresa San Andres, Former Catholic, Bulacan Province

On Being Baptized
Before I was baptized, I really bore a lot of problems. But when I got baptized, I really felt different. I feel good now. My heart really feels light.

Our children have long been here about 8 months already. From the very beginning, they have been telling us about bro. Eli.

On MCGI Leaders
Bro. Eli, I hope that your teaching will go on and I hope that it will broaden more that you will be able to help many more people like us.

Bro. Jameson Blake, Pampanga Province

On Being Baptized
Good feeling, and very different from the other religions. It’s better.

I’ve known The Old Path for almost a year via UNTV.

On MCGI Leaders
They are both very smart and God gave them a gift that no one else can have.

Bro. Nicholas Blake, Pampanga Province

On Being Baptized
I feel great. The feeling is hard to explain yeah, but it’s positive.

On MCGI Leaders
Thank you for teaching us about the word of God. Unlike other preachers, Bro. Eli Soriano makes sense about it. He’s like the most sensible preacher I have seen or ever heard.

Bro. Vicente Taac-Taac, Former Catholic, Manila

On Being Baptized
At first it’s as if I was shaking and teary-eyed when I entered the water. Then, after I got immersed, I was smiling because the heavy feeling I had was gone.

On MCGI Leaders
For some reason, the television I fixed only displayed UNTV 37 clearly. Then I watched on it, because I was glad that it’s clear.

At about 11 in the evening, I watched Bro. Eli Soriano and when I heard him read [the Bible], I remembered what I read and I said, “Wow this is good.” From then on, I went on listening until I would fall asleep in the wee hours of the morning.

Bro. Berlito Galientes, Former Catholic, Manila

On Being Baptized
I really feel good. It’s unlike in Catholicism. I can’t say anything else about what I learned from The Old Path.

My workmate always talks about the program, until another brought me to the Locale of Munoz and invited me to a gathering, which I also liked.

On MCGI Leaders
I hope that you will be able to continue your aid to people like me who are unlearned in righteousness. May God will for you to teach many more, and may the Gospel be spread to the whole world.

Bro. Christian Polinag, Former Catholic, Cavite Province

On Being Baptized
I’m thankful because the Lord brought me to the true Church and now I know that I have an obligation. Now, I will finally serve Him.

On MCGI Leaders
May the Lord will for them to have more life that they may serve many more people like me who wishes to know true doctrines.

Bro. Daniel Delos Reyes, Former Catholic, Cavite Province

On Being Baptized
First of all, I thank God because He accepted me though I had many sins in the past. I also thank those whom He used as instruments to bring me to the right Church. Now that I am born again in the spirit, I vow to fulfill my duties that I have been given upon my entering the Church.

On MCGI Leaders
I wish for them a long life. I hope that they will be able to help more people return to the true Church. I hope that they will be given more strength and wisdom. I thank them also. Because of them, I found the Church.

Bro. Ramon Christian Solis, Former Pentecostal Church, NCR

On Being Baptized
This is my third religion. I was a Catholic. I was also invited to be a Born Again. There was just a friend who shared with me things [about God] that I have never heard from my former religion. Then I asked him from where he is, and he said from the Church of God; the one preached by Bro. Eli Soriano.

I felt different when I was baptized, unlike when I was baptized in the Born Again group where I felt nothing.

On MCGI Leaders
May God continue to use them so that they will be able to lead many more, that they will be able to preach to many more people who are lost like I once was.

Thanks also to them, because I thought I had found what I was looking for until I found that there is a Church like this.

Bro. Alexes Alojado, Former Amazing Hope Christian Church, NCR

On Being Baptized
All I saw here was truth. The wrong things we saw in our former religions, here we have found to be right. I knew about this when a friend invited me to watch on UNTV 37, and I saw that it was Bro. Eli’s [program].

He was already a member at the time, and I thought of him as kind. He was with me before in our previous Church. Then, he disappeared; we didn’t know where he was. Well, I know now.

On MCGI Leaders
May God take care of them always. I hope that they won’t work hard too much so that many more souls will be lead to the truth.

Sis. Mariciris Bunagua, Former Catholic, Cavite Province

On Being Baptized
I feel different. I feel changed, unlike in Catholicism.

Actually we’ve been listening to The Old Path for about eight years because of my mother-in-law. She has been inviting us ever since, but it’s only now that my family and I have been baptized.

On MCGI Leaders
I hope that many more will believe them. I hope that many more like us who were former Catholics be lead here by Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel.
