O Caminho Antigo’s 100,000 Reasons to be Thankful For

The YouTube channel of “O Caminho Antigo” has just reached another milestone on December 14 upon earning 100,000 subscribers.

O Caminho Antigo’s YouTube channel — the Portuguese version of the famed program The Old Path program with the banner “Ask Brother Eli Soriano, the Bible Will Answer” — has registered more than 5 million views since its launch.

Hosted by Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon, the channel bravely follows a distinctive question-and-answer format with topics centered on perennial inquiries of humanity about the Bible, faith, religion, life, spirituality, and even science with guests coming from various parts of Central and South America.

All of the channel’s top seven most watched videos have raked over one million views, with its top 10 all amassing at least 61,000 views.

Here are some of the most viewed videos of O Caminho Antigo on YouTube over the
years:

• “O rei Salomão foi salvo ou não?” (Was King Solomon saved or not?). This post has now raked more than 143,313 views.
• “Há pessoas já no céu ou no inferno?” (Are there people already in heaven or in hell?). The second most popular video uploaded on the channel has registered 234,674 views.
• “Pastor desafia o irmão Eli Soriano ao vivo – Só Deus é bom, mais nada” (Pastor challenges Brother Eli Soriano live – Only God is good, that’s all). The most popular video uploaded on the channel now has 1,054,604 views.

Also this month, Ang Dating Daan’s YouTube channel has amassed 300,000 subscribers. The channel regularly livestreams Bible Expositions, Bible Studies and Mass Indoctrination sessions, and uploads biblical answers and debate highlights to cater to its Tagalog-speaking viewers.

All of these come as we near the end of year 2020, which is shaping up to be another fruitful year as more people get baptized in the Members Church of God International (MCGI). This is because more people get the chance to attend the Live Mass Indoctrination sessions, which are now held online, in compliance with the community quarantine protocols imposed by the government.
