Charities and Public Services

Central to the works of Members Church of God International (MCGI) are charitable projects that seek to more effectively and efficiently provide free social services for people needing help.

The reason? To fulfill the Lord Jesus Christ’s admonition to Christians in Galatians 6:10:

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Thus, Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel, the Overall Servant and Assistant to the Overall Servant of MCGI, respectively, founded different initiatives to address a range of tough social situations that many of our fellowmen face on a daily basis.

Free Store

The MCGI Free Store is a brainchild of Brother Eli Soriano and Brother Daniel Razon.

It is a one-of-a-kind free store chain where indigents may avail their basic needs like food, groceries, clothing and footwears as well as other items like household needs, for FREE.

All items inside the MCGI Free Store are mere donations from brethren in the Church of God International.

Feeding Program

As you read this, millions of people around the world suffer from hunger. That’s why one plate at a time, MCGI strives to feed empty stomachs, through the help of the God.

The MCGI Feeding Program is a time-honored project initiated by Brother Eli Soriano and passed through Brother Daniel Razon. The project aims to provide free meals to less-fortunate individuals and poor households facing hunger.

Inspired by the words of the Lord in Proverbs 3:27 taught to us by Brother Eli, MCGI has been relentless in feeding the hungry with hearty meals prepared by the brethren. With the help and mercy of God, MCGI hopes to satisfy poor people’s need for food with meals prepared and shared with love.

Wish Granting Program

The Members Church of God International’s Wish-Granting Program aims to provide free tablets and small livelihood grants to help families during this pandemic.

The tablets can be used by students in their online learning sessions, while the small livelihood grants or Munting Pangarap (Small Wish) can help individuals to start a small business.

The MCGI Wish-Granting Program is inspired by the words of the Lord in Proverbs 19:17 taught to us by Bro. Eli.

Free Potable Water

The MCGI Free Potable Water is a public service endeavor of the Members Church of God International which aims to provide safe, clean and free drinking water to low-income households in poor communities.Inspired by the words of the Lord in Mark 9:41 taught to us by Bro. Eli, MCGI hope to give free drinking water with His help and mercy to those who cannot afford it.Through the MCGI Potable Water Project, access to one of man’s basic needs – a safe and clean drinking water – is now FREE.

Medical Missions

The Members Church of God International aspires to make medical aid accessible to everyone.

In the Philippines, MCGI regularly conducts medical missions in nearby and far-flung areas in the National Capital Region, in provinces and even in jails, providing medical and dental services as well as medicines to the beneficiaries.

With the help of God, the Church is also able to hold medical missions through its Coordinating Centers abroad.

Aside from medical assistance, legal aid is also present in medical missions organized by the Church. Lawyers from its own legal team and other volunteer attorneys-at-law offer their expertise to indigents needing their advice.

These charitable activities are carried out continually in partnership with public service channel UNTV and through the tireless efforts of volunteer doctors, nurses, and lawyers.

Diagnostic Center

To go with the free checkups and medicines, MCGI inaugurated the La Verdad Diagnostics Center in Pampanga on the 15th of December 2017.

A milestone for the Church, the diagnostics center is a facility with state-of-the-art machines and laboratory equipment, and is open to anyone who needs to avail of medical services the facility renders, at absolutely no cost.

The facility aims to help poor members of the Church as well as non-members with their laboratory requirements, so that doctors may properly assess their sickness and state of health.

Services offered at the center include 2D echo, blood chemistry analysis, EKG, hematology, ultrasound, dental x-ray and x-ray, among others — giving individuals and families one less thing to worry about and focus more on other aspects of their lives.

Disaster Relief

The Philippines is a country often visited by strong typhoons and shaken by occasional earthquakes.

Throughout the years, MCGI Servants have initiated and carried out means to further protect or come to the aid of members and non-members alike whenever calamities strike.

distributions of relief goods and free food, rescue operations, medical missions, and donations of emergency response vehicle and equipment, which all aim to lend a hand to anyone affected by the onslaught of natural and man-made catastrophes.

Legal Consultation

Many people lack the resources to get proper legal assistance in times of their need. Through free legal consultations, the Members Church of God International hopes to serve social justice to whom it is due but cannot afford it.

Aware of the reality of corruption and injustices in the world through their own personal experiences, Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel spearheaded the Church’s regular conduct of free legal consultations.

A pool of Church members who are judges, lawyers, and paralegals devote their time to help people seeking legal assistance. The Law Center ni Kuya in UNTV is open to all; while during regular Church gatherings, brethren and guests are also welcome to utter their concerns.

MCGI also actively participates in UNTV News and Rescue’s People’s Day, a community outreach involving medical and legal consultations among others.

With the growing number of people soliciting legal help, Bro. Daniel Razon organized a legal congress inside the Church. It was held on January 30, 2017 followed by a second event on February 27 of the same year.

Free Education

The La Verdad Christian College in the Philippines, with two branches located in Apalit, Pampanga and Caloocan, Metro Manila, has produced many scholars since its inception in 2009.

With the objectives to establish an educational institution that offers free education for underprivileged youths in the Philippines, Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel went through many sacrifices in order for this vision to come into fruition.

Not only does La Verdad offer free tuition fee, the college also provides students’ needs for free including miscellaneous fees, meals, uniforms, books and more that are essential to complete a school year and graduate.

Aside from receiving these provisions, La Verdad also offers competitive curriculums, trainings, activities and courses that would benefit its scholars.

To date, hundreds of La Verdad Christian College alumni hold associate and bachelor degrees and are employed and are making a difference in their chosen field.

Infant Care

“But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.” – Luke 18:16, (King James Version)

MCGI gives significant care to children, whether they be born in or outside of the Church.

The Infant Care Center of MCGI is especially established to shelter and nurture abandoned and voluntarily surrendered babies aged 0 to 2 ½ years old. The babies are taken care temporarily until licensed foster families are set to adopt them upon due process.

Bro. Daniel conceptualized the center in 2012. A number of these children have been successfully sent off to their respective and adoptive families.

MCGI coordinates with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in running the Infant Care Center for the implementation of standing operating procedures on how to maintain such child-caring agency and more importantly, on how the adoption processes go through.

Orphanage and Elder Care

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” – James 1:27 (KJV)

Guided by the Holy Scriptures, the orphanage of MCGI is situated in the Ang Dating Daan Convention Center in Apalit, Pampanga housing senior citizens and youth whose families had abandoned them or had voluntarily turned them over.

Food, shelter, medical, and dental services are provided day-to-day to the residents of the Church’s orphanage.

The residents are attended to by social workers who lend their time to take care and nourish them, not only through food in their stomachs or roof above their heads, but especially by making them feel safe and loved.

Knowing that faith alone could not save, but that faith should be paired with good works, MCGI carried out many missions all over the world to reach out to members and non-members and aid them in many different ways.

Embodying the qualities of the true Church in the Bible as written in James 1:27, MCGI continues, with God’s help and mercy, to stay faithful to Christ’s teachings by making benevolence a way of life.

MCGI-UNTV 24-Hour Digital Clinic

Aside from free physical checkups, MCGI also provides free telehealth services through MCGI-UNTV Digital Clinic to provide an accessible line of communication between medical practitioners and patients, especially during these times when Covid cases are on the rise. Upon the instruction of Brother Eli and Brother Daniel, this service has been open 24/7 since March 2020 with God’s help and mercy.

Whether a member of the Church or not, anyone can call the hotline numbers to have free medical consultations with licensed doctors anytime and anywhere without going outside. People with symptoms of Covid-19 or other ailments that do not require physical examinations can consult doctors through video calls while complying with data protection requirements. This played a vital role in avoiding physical appointments in hospitals, which can expose a person to the deadly virus, and in helping with early contact tracing and quarantine of those affected by it.
