Meet the new MCGI.org, for the mobile you.

MCGI.org, the official website of the Members Church of God International (MCGI), has metamorphosed into something bigger and better, sporting a responsive web design, more features and content.

Launched in February this year, the redesigned MCGI.org marks another milestone in the propagation efforts of the group to provide users with the tools and content they will need in understanding the Church of God’s beliefs, teachings, and answers to questions around faith, religion, spirituality, relationships, parenting, and more of the likes.

Seeing the need to go the extra mile in mobile technology by adopting responsive web design, this means the new MCGI.org will work well in different platforms such as mobile and tablet computer devices.

As well as the award-winning website’s content where users get to learn more about the Church of God’s general doctrines, gatherings and Church news, the revamped MCGI.org has updated the site with the materials culled from Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro Daniel Razon’s social media presences.

One such feature is the “Words of Wisdom,” where users may read a collection of sensible and Bible-based quotations from Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel, the MCGI’s Presiding Minister and Vice-Presiding Minister, respectively.

Visitors of the site can watch heart-warming stories of MCGI’s new members in the Video Testimonials section, as well as download inspirational desktop wallpapers, and read Bible verses. In addition, there is a Blogs Section that comes in the redesigned site that will initially feature a weekly Thanksgiving and monthly Bible Exposition blogs.

Sharing of content on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube are now easier with the adition of social networking buttons. Users may also visit the organization’s Facebook and Twitter official accounts to receive regular streams of news and events updates posted at the site.

In extending the Church’s advocacy of spreading God’s words and empowering people to read the Bible, through the site, MCGI provided an outlet for people to request for free Bible. Giving of free Bible is a regular service of Bro. Eli and Bro Daniel since starting the Ang Dating Daan or The Old Path television program as well as Bible Expositions.

MCGI.org was first launched in 2009. Within its first year, the official website of the organization bagged the People’s Choice Award when it joined the Philippine Web Awards, an annual web competition showcasing the finest Filipino-made websites.

The Community Prayer portal at MCGI.org gives access to all across the globe to an hourly prayer and singing of praises to God.

The Members Church of God International (MCGI) has launched its 24/7 prayer service site Monday, June 27, 2011, enabling global people to have easy access to its hourly community prayer and singing of praises to God.

The 24/7 Community Prayer website, which can be accessed at http://www.mcgi.org/en/cp/, is roofed under MCGI’s official website.

Vice-Presiding Minister to MCGI Bro. Daniel Razon announced during the International Thanksgiving over the weekend that aside from the Philippines, other remote points across the globe will host the hourly prayer. The former schedule of MCGI’s worldwide synchronized prayer that started on March 6, 2011 was at 10 o’clock each evening.

The new Philippine schedules are from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. where live feed emanates from Apalit, Pampanga. Church locales from other points of the world will lead the prayer service for all other hours.

According to Bro. Daniel, the varied schedules were prompted by Bro. Eli Soriano’s intent that more brethren can take part in this endeavor at a time of their choosing.

MCGI’s nonstop community singing and prayer started three years ago. In one of the Church’s worship services, Bro. Eli explained that it is God’s commandment to His people to be prayerful. He cited I Thessalonians 5:17.

MCGI.org Launches Italian Translation

Benvenuti! This is the Italian version of the official website of the Members Church of God International.

Apalit, Philippines – The official website of the Members Church of God International recently launched its Italian translation on the World Wide Web via www.mcgi.org/it/, in addition to its Portuguese translation. This is part of the organization’s continuing efforts to further the Church’s evangelization by expanding translations of the award-winning website.

The Italian translation of the Members Church of God International’s (MCGI) website aims to help make spiritual awareness understood better by the Italian-speaking populace the world over. According to a 2005 United Nations report, there is an estimated 57.2 million Italian-speaking natives in Italy alone.

Speakers of the language are also largely present in the United States, Canada and Europe. They are also present in South American countries like Argentina, with 1.5 million speakers, and Uruguay, with between 28,000 and 30,000 speakers, reside.

Incidentally, Argentina and Uruguay are two of several South American countries where MCGI holds religious TV broadcasts and live Web stream broadcasts, hosted by Presiding Minister to MCGI Bro. Eli Soriano.

While the Portuguese-speakers of South American countries benefit from the ever-growing number of MCGI TV broadcasts there, the Italian speakers in the continent will get to benefit from the Italian translation of the website.

With these new developments, Italian-speaking Web users can now read Church information, basic doctrines and works as well as visitor information on the website. Bro. Eli Soriano’s religious and scientific blogs straight from esoriano.wordpress.com are also translated in Italian and may be readily accessed on the website.
