Newly Baptized Testimonials: October 1, 2015

Read short testimonials of faith from some of MCGI’s youngest brethren baptized on October 1, 2015 at the Ang Dating Daan Convention Center in Apalit, Pampanga.

Bro. Lorenzo Mendoza, 46, Former Catholic, Nueva Ecija Province

On Joining the Church of God

I was brought here by Bro. Prencinillo, and I really wanted to be here.

He always brought me to the locale. In September, he invited me to attend the indoctrination. I don’t remember the exact date, but it was in the Locale of Piquan, Nueva Ecija.

He brought me to a Bible Exposition that I may get a copy of the Bible. He actually brought me to a Mobile Coordinating Center.

On Being Baptized

I felt light, because before coming here, I really felt heavy. But after I got baptized, I felt light.

On Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon

Many thanks to Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel.

Sis. Jennifer Toledo, 26, Former Catholic, Manila

On Joining the Church of God

I really wanted to learn the teachings of God. I wanted to be enlightened of all His doctrines.

I was invited by my workmate, Bro. Guillermo. That’s when I started to listen to Bro. Eli.

I have tried attending in other religions, but it’s only here where I heard [the teachings of God], where I understood everything.

It was in September, September 11th if I’m not mistaken. I think it was a Bible Exposition.

When I heard the preaching, that’s when I believed. With others, it’s just with their own words. But with Bro. Eli, it’s through verses.

That’s when I really got enlightened. He doesn’t just speak. But he takes everything he says from the Bible.

On Being Baptized

I felt light inside. I felt that I wanted to get rid of every unpleasant thing I’ve done before.

On Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon

With Bro. Eli, I’m thankful because I got enlightened now. I hope that in the coming days I will be more enlightened of the teachings that I will learn. Thanks be to God because He gave you wisdom to be able to share what is right.

Sis. Danelyn Dela Cruz, 22 Former Catholic, Manila

On Joining the Church of God

I actually felt bothered by my conscience already. I have been delaying, disregarding this for so long. Then, just all of a sudden, I felt my conscience telling me that I really needed to join already.

My papa has been a member since 2001. He’s 14 years already in the Church. He was the one who told me to attend the indoctrination.

At first, I felt like I didn’t want to go. I didn’t really feel like going to the point that I would make ways for me not to be able to go. But deep inside me, there was this voice that says, “Try and go. Fight that feeling. I’m am here already.”

On Being Baptized

Mixed emotions. Before I got immersed in the water, all I felt was being sorry for my sins, as I had committed many.

I had done many wrong things. I always felt irritated before. After baptism, I felt light inside.

On Bro. Eli Soriano and Bro. Daniel Razon

I hope that they will be able to continue. I also hope that Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel will be healthier that they may be able to preach the words of God.

To God be the glory

Inspired by a single tweet of international televangelist Bro. Eliseo Soriano of MCGI, the concert was able to raise P6-Million for the members of the AFP and PNP.

Moreover, Bro. Eli himself, together with UNTV President Mr. Atom Henares, donated an additional P2-Million, totaling P8-Milion.

To Pay Tribute to our Filipino Servicemen

In narrating his experiences abroad, Bro. Soriano said what he observed that the Filipinos’ nature of being dedicated and helpful remain unmatched anywhere else.

“I remember our servicemen because I saw that the same virtue we have in helping our countrymen cannot be found in other countries I’ve been to,” remarked Bro. Soriano.

To this, AFP Gen. Catapang Jr. and PNP Gen. Espina expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Bro. Eli and the support of MCGI.

“Despite your distance, you still remembered us,” said Gen. Catapang. “Thank you for remembering us, thank you for the support and aid you are giving.”

General Espina, who is retiring from service, remarked: “What a way to retire – with a concert, and with a cause!”

A Star-Studded Event for a Cause

The benefit concert began with cinematic sequences detailing the lives of two young boys aspiring to be a policeman and a soldier. Song performances and dance numbers interspersed the story sequence.

The movie-like presentation ended with the song, “That’s What Friends Are For” as performed by PNP Gen. Espina and AFP Gen. Catapang Jr. They were joined on stage by Mr. Atom Henares.

UNTV, BMPI Thankful to God As Their 10th Year of Public Service Nears

Apalit, Pampanga – Kuya Daniel Razon led the thankful employees, volunteer staff and beneficiaries of Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International (BMPI) in offering their gratitude to God on February 1 this year at the ADD Convention Center in Pampanga.

The people behind UNTV – the country’s prime public service network stood on stage to thank God for nearly a decade of God’s guidance in all of the station’s public service endeavors.

An audio visual presentation played during MCGI's Thanksgiving in February 2014 shows UNTV CEO Kuya Daniel Razon speaking about the network's use of drones for news and public service.

During the thanksgiving number, BMPI-UNTV CEO and Chairman Daniel Razon remarked on UNTV’s making its mark in the field of public service.

In UNTV’s audio-visual presentation, Kuya Daniel said, “We are so small compared to bigger networks, but with God’s mercy, in our humble ways, we are instruments in helping our fellowmen.”

In the same AVP, MCGI Presiding Minister Bro. Eliseo Soriano congratulated UNTV on how God has helped the station become what it is today – a station that truly serves the people.

“It is quite an achievement for UNTV, under the supervision of Bro. Daniel Razon. [That is] To bring glory and honor to the Lord through the instrumentality of UNTV,” stressed Bro. Soriano.

“We do not mean business, we mean public service,” concluded Bro. Daniel as what UNTV as a network is all about.

Nine Years of Public Service

Starting out as a small television network way back year 2004, UNTV has made a name for itself as the country’s dedicated public service channel. The network maintains the daily operation of its numerous charity institutions and public service works.

Now passing its 9th year, UNTV has already made marks with some of the most groundbreaking public service projects launched in the Philippines.

One example is the “Tulong Muna, Bago Balita” (Rescue First, Report Later) Advocacy, which encourages media men to prioritize life-saving rather than news reporting.

UNTV has also pioneered the use of aerial drones for rescue and reporting in the country, employing the use of technology for faster information dissemination and a wider scope of public service to the masses.

UNTV also maintains partnership with the Members Church of God International (MCGI) through its Ang Dating Daan Foundation Inc. (ADDFI).

To extend help in far-flung areas in the country, UNTV has rolled medical missions. The station also put up numerous Clinic ni Kuya facilities around the archipelago to provide medical care help to our marginalized fellowmen.

UNTV’s main operating station located in EDSA also houses its Legal Center called “Law Center ni Kuya,” where people in need of legal assistance can seek counselling.

The station also provides continuous support for La Verdad Christian College’s free education and the Dunong Gulong Mobile School services, as well as its Libreng Sakay (Free Ride) buses and jeepneys throughout the country.

UNTV will celebrate its tenth anniversary this coming June 25-26, 2014.

Newly Baptized Testimonials: October 18, 2013

Read short testimonials of faith from some of MCGI’s youngest brethren baptized on October 18, 2013 at the ADD Convention Center in Apalit, Pampanga.

Sis. Lorena Dizon, 43, Former Catholic, Pampanga Province

On Being Baptized
I was able to watch [Bro. Eli Soriano] on television. I just listen to his Bible Expositions then after three months, I decided to get indoctrinated. I’m happy. I have no doubt in my heart.

On MCGI Leaders
I hope that he’ll have a longer life. I hope that he’ll be able to help many more people, lead many more souls to the truth, because the world now is chaotic. [I hope that] those listening to his doctrines will continue to be baptized, until they become brethren in faith.

~o~

Bro. Ronald Naluz, Former KNC, Pampanga Province

On Being Baptized
I have accepted the teachings of Bro. Eli accordingly. I’m happy. I can’t explain the happiness that I feel.

On MCGI Leaders
Many thanks to Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel [for] I have known the truth [in the Bible].

~o~

Bro. Jose Concep Tawat, 71, Former Catholic, Laguna Province

On Being Baptized
The night before in Laguna, I’ve been thinking about my vertigo and blurring eyesight, hoping that both may be gone. Because whenever I remove my glasses, I feel something’s blocking [my sight].

As I went into the water, my knees shook. After I was immersed, I was kind of surprised when [the baptizer] said, “Do you still need help?” I said, “Not anymore. I’m fine.”

It’s as if my vertigo was gone. Then, after I changed my clothes, I no longer needed my glasses.

My in-law became a member [of the Church of God] one year ago. I, on the other hand, was still reluctant. Since I was Catholic, there were many [idols] that were on my altar.

Then he said to me, “Dad, when we are all members here, let’s remove those idols.” I shrugged my shoulder. Then he said, “Come on! You should go on with [the indoctrination], so the feelings you feel will be gone.

When they called for the Mass Indoctrination [on October 7, 2013] , I started it and continued with the baptism. I said to myself, “I’m going to go on with this,” especially when I heard the teachings of Bro. Eli [about baptism].

On MCGI Leaders
I cannot say anything more, except that this religion I joined is really different. This is the true Church. That is why I thank the Lord Jesus Christ and the Lord God. Thank you Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel. Thanks be to God.

~o~

Bro. Rico Guerrero, 21, Former Catholic, Cavite Province

On Being Baptized
Now, I feel that I’ve been so much enlightened, like really so much. I hope that in the days to come, whatever will happen to me, He’ll guide me.

I can say that this experience is very interesting; I learned a lot. The things I thought were right, are wrong; the things that I used to do, I shouldn’t have done. This is a turning point for me.

On MCGI Leaders
For Bro. Eli, he’s old, so may he be given more strength; and wisdom on the spiritual aspect that he may continue what he started, because it’s really good.

For Bro. Daniel, may he keep on doing what he does, because it’s inspiring for people like us. We are inspired by people like them. [We hoped before] that someday we could serve God as well.

~o~

Sis. Arianne Acebuche, 19, Former KNC, Laguna Province

On Being Baptized
I feel changed, a new person. Unlike before when I was quite hard-headed. I was always going out with friends until I realized [my sins]. He [Bro. Johnie Recto] was really the one who lead me here.

Actually, it was supposed to be the other way around because my parents are already members. But with God’s help and mercy, [I’m here].

On MCGI Leaders
They preach honestly. They are sent by God. They are not unlike those who are false ones out there. Other preachers will bring you to hell. There are those who teach their members to kill, and not love their enemies.

~o~

Bro. Johnny Recto, 21, Former Catholic, Laguna Province

On Being Baptized
All I can say is that it’s good. Everything will benefit you.

I’m really not into vices; I didn’t have [bad habits]. But then when I became a member, it’s really here that I learned the benefits of what I was doing, plus the pleasant words from Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel.

It was kind of an accident on cable when I switched the channel [and saw The Old Path], since sometimes the channel lineup is different on cable. Then, she [Sis. Arianne Acebuche] became my girlfriend. Since her parents are members, I also listened to the program.

On MCGI Leaders
I hope he [Bro. Eli Soriano] enlightens more youth’s minds, those aged 19 or 16 who have taken illegal drugs. Sometimes, even a five-year old swears already; they are not properly guided by their parents.

~o~

Bro. John Jose Louise Sarza, 25, Former KNC, NCR

On Being Baptized
We were able to listen at first on radio through Don Manolo Favis’ [program]. Then, it was on SBN 21. Actually, my parents are already members. It’s a long time that I wasted [before being baptized] as I was a KNC before.

With God’s mercy, He really guided me until I reached baptism, and it was a success. All I can say is that I feel very light, because the sins we bore for so long have been cleansed.

On MCGI Leaders
To Bro. Eli, you are always in our prayers and we are thankful because God used him for us brethren to be enlightened. Of course, [I wish him more] strength, and may he continue [using] the gift God gave him. Many thanks.

~o~

Sis. Kim Quilla, 21, Former Catholic, Rizal Province

On Being Baptized
I first heard [Bro. Eliseo Soriano] on television. My aunt is already a member and my cousin lead me here. I really felt the true doctrines. I saw the great difference with my last religion.

I’m happy and I feel relieved, as if something was taken away from me. But above all, my faith in God [has changed]. Before, I was Catholic and my faith was in idols. But when I heard the true doctrines, it changed. Everything changed when I heard the teachings of Bro. Eli.

On MCGI Leaders
Bro. Eli, this is all I can say: Firstly, I thank God for calling me, and to you. Take care always.

~o~

Bro. Jun Paulino, 24, Former Catholic, Rizal Province

On Being Baptized
Before even when I prayed, it felt like I wasn’t being heard. But now that I’m baptized, I feel that my faith is stronger. Actually, my family are already members; I was a KNC (Kawan ng Cordero or Children’s Ministry) member before.

Only, I got back to being a Catholic and then got invited to other religions, so I was also able to investigate. But then, it’s only here that I found the true teachings. All the questions that formed in my mind were answered even in the indoctrination sessions alone. With God’s help, I was able to understand them.

On MCGI Leaders
To Bro. Eli, may God give you more time to be able to preach for a long period, even, God willing, [until] the Lord Jesus Christ arrives.

~o~

Bro. Joebert Rellama, 21, Former Born Again, Cavite Province

On Being Baptized
I thank the Lord because I have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, in the name of the Lord. I felt the presence of God when I was baptized.

It’s as if He touched me, that I really needed to change, as I was a Catholic before. Now when there was a Born Again member who preached to us, I joined the Born Again. But still, I wanted to know more, but I didn’t want to ask.

So I watched [UNTV] Channel 37, even on my older brother’s cellphone. I was able to listen to Bro. Eli Soriano preach. That’s when I learned many things, like the prohibitions. I learned that pastors shouldn’t let themselves be called pastors as we are all just brethren. There is only one pastor, the Lord.

On MCGI Leaders
I thank Bro. Eli because of him, I learned what I must know. My wish to the Lord for Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel is to keep giving them physical and spiritual strength, and wisdom that they may be able to explain well to people the words of the Lord.

May they also be given, God willing, longer lives that they may be able to teach, indoctrinate [more people] with God’s words.

Newly Baptized Testimonials: October 4, 2013

Read short testimonials of faith from some of MCGI’s youngest brethren baptized on October 4, 2013 at the ADD Convention Center in Apalit, Pampanga.

Bro. James Michael Ong, 30, Former Catholic, Manila

On Being Baptized
What I felt when I was baptized was that I had a new person, because baptism washed away all my sins as what Bro. Eliseo Soriano taught.

It’s only now that I experienced this because in Catholicism, [I was] baptized as an infant so I had no mind yet of my own. It’s only here that I learned the true meaning of baptism.

I learned of The Old Path [program] when I was invited to attend a Prayer Meeting and a Thanksgiving of the Body, and on UNTV 37.

On MCGI Leaders
Bro. Eli, thank you for teaching the doctrines; I learned so much from the doctrines. May your lives be longer and may you be able to teach many more of God’s doctrines.

~o~

Bro. Marvin Mendoza, 22, Former Catholic, Batangas Province

On Being Baptized
It’s like I felt relieved; it feels good inside.

I learned of The Old Path through my siblings who are brethren in the Church. They brought me here, to the indoctrination sessions and I finished [and accepted them] without any doubt.

On MCGI Leaders
Many, many thanks to Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel.

~o~

Bro. Honorato Tindog, 28, Former Catholic, Zambales Province

On Being Baptized
Someone just invited me to listen to The Old Path, to listen to the teachings, until I have. [Now] I felt relieved; I can’t explain what I feel.

On MCGI Leaders
May they continue their preaching of the Gospel. Many, many thanks.

~o~

Bro. Jhonlie Salubre, 35, Former Adventist, Cavite Province

On Being Baptized
I’m glad and happy that I learned many things I didn’t learn before in my previous religions. Now, I have found the truth.

On MCGI Leaders
Many thanks because my heart and mind has been enlightened by the Lord. Many, many thanks to God for both of them.

~o~

Bro. Aried John David, 15, Former Catholic, Bulacan Province

On Being Baptized
I’m happy that I was baptized and was brought here by my relatives: my Aunt Ruth, my Kuya (Big Brother) Ruben, Kuya Robert, to listen to the teachings. There are so many truths that we can find here in the [Church of God].

On MCGI Leaders
Many thanks to Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel and also to my relatives who brought me here. I will obey the teachings here and I will not do anymore the prohibitions of [the Bible, with God’s help and mercy].

~o~

Bro. Rogelio Macaso, 63, Former Born Again, NCR

On Being Baptized
I thank God that I met Bro. Eli and heard his teachings.

When I first listened to him, I liked it. Others were annoyed because the teachings he told struck other people’s wrongdoings. I would list down what he says and whenever I looked in the Bible I would say, “What he says is right!”

At first, I sent my nephew to go here; I said, “Go and tell me the things you’ll hear.” Soon after, I followed him and here I am, happy to be baptized.

On MCGI Leaders
All I can say to Bro. Eli, I’m thankful that I heard him; I learned teachings of God. May he continue to preach that many more people will be able to listen to him. May God give him more strength.

~o~

Bro. Mark Kevin Baldemor, 20, Former Catholic, Laguna Province

On Being Baptized
Of course I’m happy because the feeling’s different, especially when I was immersed in water. It was like all my [worries] were gone. It’s just like that! It felt like I was born again.

We were able to listen in 2008 on cable, Channel 49, and on UNTV; also on La Verdad Radio 1350 at nights. My brother was the first to become a member, and he was able to bring us here.

On MCGI Leaders
More power and God bless. Thanks be to God.

~o~

Bro. Gilberto Artusa, 41, Former Catholic, Bulacan Province

On Being Baptized
I feel light and I felt as if I’ve been unloaded of the burden I carried. The problems lingering in my mind since long ago that seemed to have no answer, I feel now has been relieved with God’s help and mercy.

It was way back in 2005 when I chanced upon [Bro. Eli Soriano] on radio on DZBB; that time, it was on Don Manolo Favis’ [program]. That’s when I got interested in tuning in to The Old Path. There came a time when I listened to other programs and I assessed [what I heard], until I decided to be indoctrinated.

On MCGI Leaders
Bro. Eli, Bro. Daniel, I know that the Lord God is using you to spread His words. With God’s help and mercy, may your lives be longer so many more people will be able to hear the true teachings of God that you preach.

~o~

Sis. Marilyn Armedilla, 32, Former Catholic, NCR

On Being Baptized
I thank the Lord because He proclaimed to me His righteousness through Bro. Eli Soriano, and through the brethren who helped me get here. I’m happy and I feel that the Spirit of God is in our congregation.

Our neighbor always watched TV loudly, and I hear [The Old Path]. Also, he always invites me to attend, even for just one time. When I did go with him, I got the more [interested].

On MCGI Leaders
May God give them more bodily strength that they may continue preaching and leading people who are in need of God’s righteousness.

~o~

Bro. Marvin Dingalan, 18, Former Catholic, Bulacan Province

On Being Baptized
I feel good. I feel that I’ve been changed, and [I promise] to obey all the commandments that were taught to us.

On MCGI Leaders
All I can say to Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel is what they’re doing is very good, and may they keep on doing it.

~o~

Bro. Archie Brioso, 33, Former Born Again, Bulacan Province

On Being Baptized
It feels light because you know that you’ve been cleansed and at the same time you feel complete because you’ve found what you’ve been searching for. Finally, you’re with the people who have found righteousness.

My mom has been watching The Old Path since I was a kid. One time [in my adult life], I chanced upon it and it caught my attention. Eventually, I found myself regularly watching it.

On MCGI Leaders
The duty they perform is a righteous one; it’s purely about truth, and all are based in the Bible. May God give more life to Bro. Eli. Thanks be to God.

~o~

Sis. Elvie Comawas, 19, Former Catholic, Bulacan Province

On Being Baptized
I feel light. On this day, it’s as if every wrong outlook I had has been changed, that my wrongdoings have been corrected.

The teachings are good beyond compare from other religions’, as I also joined other religions, investigated. It’s really here that I found truth, [coming] from other religious denominations. It’s really only here that I found the Lord.

On MCGI Leaders
Many thanks because they are being used by the Lord to bring the [Gospel] to us all.

I feel happy when I was baptized. I also felt afraid; it was a different feeling, and I can’t explain it. I’m glad because I feel that I’ve been forgiven of the sins I’ve done, that I’ve been cleansed of evil works.

On MCGI Leaders
Thanks for their leadership to people. May they be able to continue doing so that many more will know the truth.

~o~

Bro. Felipe Padallan, 63, Former Catholic, Laguna Province

Since I was eight years old, I’ve been listening to Bro. Eli on television. Both my mother and father are members of the Church. It feels good to be baptized. I’m happy because the sins I’ve committed have been forgiven and I will strive to continue in service [to God]. I would like to be a Church Worker that I may help Bro. Eli and Kuya (Big Brother) Daniel.

On MCGI Leaders
May God always be with them in their preaching of righteousness in various places. Thanks be to God that I met Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel. May they be given longer lives.

~o~

Sis. Rozanille De Belen, 32, Former Catholic, NCR

On Being Baptized
Now, [everything] is clearer. It’s like I’ve accepted what the words of God are with the help and guide of Bro. Eli. I understand the Lord’s guidance to me.

It feels good inside. All my anxieties, my worries in life, all the questions have been answered in one moment of baptism. I’ve been enlightened.

My mother-in-law has long been a member. Since then, she always brought us to Thanksgivings every week. Then, my husband was baptized in May.

On MCGI Leaders
May they keep in [preaching] the words of God. Due to their perseverance and patience and understanding of men, they are able to help many. Our fellow Filipinos are being saved, and not only Filipinos but if the whole world would be able to listen to the words of the Lord [through] Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel, then it would be of great help to all the nations.

My boss at work in Calamba just brought us to a [locale] to listen. But then I liked it. I feel as if all the [burden in my heart] is gone; I feel light when I got baptized.

On MCGI Leaders
I just thank Bro. Eli for all the pleasant things he says with regards to the Bible. Thanks Bro. Eli.

On Being Baptized
I’m certain I feel good now; I feel warm. My sins have really been cleansed. Before I was immersed in water, I really repented of the sins I committed.

I started watching [The Old Path] on UNTV around 2010. However, when I had a problem at home, I stopped, until someone invited me again here.

The first week I got indoctrinated, I wasn’t able to join them as I didn’t have even a little pocket money. I was thinking, “What if we should get separated”?

I didn’t know that this place would be this big. I was surprised and I said, “This is big.” Then, a sister said to me that I should try again listening to Bro. Eli. So I started with the Bible Exposition again, until I attended the indoctrination, until I’m here now in Apalit.

On MCGI Leaders
To Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel, may you have longer lives, and many more people to help be enlightened. Thank you.

On Being Baptized
Of course I’m happy. It’s like everything is clear now, and it feels different and light.

Before when I listened to Bro. Eli, I turn it off immediately because I didn’t like him then. But lately, when my husband got us cable, he was able to watch the Bible Exposition. It’s like he’s been to all the Born Again groups. My husband also entered Iglesia ni Cristo. As for me, I stayed Catholic. But it was only there [The Old Path] that we heard the explanations that were different from all the rest, like this is the truth we said.

So my husband went to Salitran as we live in Cavite. He really searched for the locale because I said, “There’s The Old Path in Salitran,” as I passed by that. He went there and he was referred to a [locale] in Dasmariñas. That’s when our listening started. Then we said, “This is really the right one.” My husband was the first to become a member than me.

On MCGI Leaders
May their lives be longer that they may help many more. May many more return to God.

On Being Baptized
I actually began listening to Bro. Eli in 1996, but it’s only now that I got the chance [to become a member]. Also, I only understood the more [the teachings] when I went to Saudi.

I had company there who were brethren and gave me links on the Internet. I asked them, “Besides debates, is there anything else I can watch, like the teachings?” So they gave me links on the Internet, and that’s when I saw it.

Until I got home here in the Philippines, I listened, until I found the locale where I can attend. After one year, I pursued with the [indoctrination].

On MCGI Leaders
May the Lord continue to delight in them, give longer lives to Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel. Thanks be to God.

I feel happy and light. I’ve been listening to [The Old Path] on radio since my 50’s. It was on DZRH on Manolo Favis’ [program]. That’s where I first listened as I had a son who was a radio engineer.

On MCGI Leaders
I’m thankful that I met Bro. Eli Soriano. He’s the only one in the whole world, in my age of 74, that is a preacher who teaches all the teachings; He gave it all.

On Being Baptized
I’ve been listening to Bro. Eli since I was a child, but my father prohibited it. He was very strict when it comes to religious matters. We were Catholics, and he was so adherent to being Catholic that he doesn’t watch anything else.

After some years, I listened again as my father died already. That’s when I decided to listen to Bro. Eli again; later on, I decided to get indoctrinated.

I’m happy; the feeling is good. I really felt that my sins have been washed out I feel pleasant; it’s really different. I feel light.

On MCGI Leaders
To Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel, may God give them longer lives and may they be able to continue preaching the words of God that many more will return to God like us.

It feels good. It feels good to be a brother in the Church. I got indoctrinated because I want to serve God. My parents and older brother supported me, and I feel pleasant inside.

On Being Baptized
I’m thankful because the Lord allowed for us to be baptized. Although it’s only a short time that we’ll be here because I’m just on vacation, so the Lord willed for me to be here with my wife, my sister-in-faith.

Many thanks to the brethren, firstly to the Lord God. Without a doubt, we’re really so happy. May the Lord guide us. As we age, may we be more worthy for His righteousness.

On MCGI Leaders
Bro. Eli, I hope that you will continue what you started because for every day that the Lord gives, there are many souls being saved. May God give you more strength, and may the congregation grow more and more, be stronger and stronger in faith.

On Being Baptized
I’m really thankful because God granted this time for me and my husband. It’s like God prepared us for this day, because I had my indoctrination way back in July, but I wasn’t able to go on with baptism.

But then, he came home this August, so this is really the right time I believe for us to grow in faith together.

When it comes to Bro. Eli, I watch UNTV everyday. It was fifteen years ago when we watched the debates of Bro. Eli against the INC and other religious [leaders]. It’s like our understanding grew and grew.

So with that, I matured watching on TV. It’s like the Lord used the media for us to grow in faith, as a whole family. Actually, our whole family has undergone indoctrination. But it’s us who are first to be baptized. May the Lord will for our children to be next.

On MCGI Leaders
For Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel, may they stay healthy and may the Lord always delight in them and guide them more that they may lead many people to save them from the coming tribulation.

May each soul be ready and overcome trials and sufferings that they may also experience this joy that we feel now. Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel are the perfect instruments of God [among men now] to share the good news and give justice to the Bible’s interpretation.

Bro. Romeo San Juan, 63, Born Again, Manila

On Being Baptized
I’ve joined many religions. First was Jehovah’s Witnesses, then Born Again; I also became a member of the El Shaddai. But now I saw that this religion is the one that adheres to what’s in the Bible. The doctrines really cleaved to my heart, that’s why I decided to get baptized at once.

On MCGI Leaders
My message to Bro. Eli is that until he has strength, until he has life, may he continue to preach until many more people are lead here, in the true faith.

Bro. Archie Altiche, 18, Former Catholic, Manila

On Being Baptized
I’m happy. It’s like all the worries in my mind, all my problems are gone.

I was able to watch the Bible Exposition on TV. Then I had a problem with my father. He reprimanded me, so I went to the Coordinating Center. He plans on joining the Church but he doesn’t yet want to because he might not be able to commit since he’s busy running the bakery.

On MCGI Leaders
Many, many thanks. Because of you, I learned the word of God. At first, I had a hard time reading the Bible because the Tagalog there is deep; I’m Ilocano. May the Lord give them longer lives.

On Being Baptized
Listening to Bro. Eli Soriano on radio was an accident. Before, I usually listen on FM radio, while my grandfather on the AM band. He listens to the news, and I listen to music. It was about 11 p.m. and my grandfather had just used the radio. I just changed the station and that was it.

Being baptized is really a different experience. It really is.

On MCGI Leaders
Thanks to men like them who teach the Word of God. I haven’t seen any pastor like Bro. Eli. Usually, other pastors just mention a Bible verse, and then teach their own [doctrines] afterwards.

I hope that God will give them longer life because I think that there are still many more that need them.

On Being Baptized
It feels light inside. I feel relieved. I believe that this is what Bro. Eli said that your sins have been cleansed, so I’m really happy.

I’ve been listening to Bro. Eli since a long time ago, but I got turned off because it seemed to me that he was always angry, so I listened to other preachers. However, I felt that something was wrong, even with international pastors like Joel Osten, Joseph Prince, so I went back to Bro. Eli.

I got to listen via the app on Facebook, the MCGI app. It’s in my bookmark. I just press it and i would listen. The time came when I was able to relate with those asking him questions, until I decided to undergo indoctrination.

On MCGI Leaders
I’m thankful to Bro. Eli because you don’t stop preaching. I know that you serve wholeheartedly, even though it’s your life at stake. You can really see that he [Bro. Eli Soriano] is angry at false pastors. He’s not afraid for the sake of Christ. I’m thankful because I’ve been called. Many thanks.

All I can say is that there is this happiness I feel in my heart. There’s also this feeling that after being baptized I want to strive for my good works to be counted in heaven, and not to think of evil things anymore.

Since my sins have been cleansed, I know that I mustn’t commit new sins that are grievous and deliberate.

I heard Bro. Eli on radio and the Internet via Youtube. There were also some videos uploaded on Truthcaster.com. I actually have a collection [of videos] which I keep. One time when I was on vacation, I felt as if something kept telling me, kept reminding me of the teachings. It’s as if something was always lacking in me, until I developed an interest [in hearing Bro. Eli].

In my indoctrination, I kept on with the sessions because I didn’t hear anything bad. Until now I’m here. I feel light after I get baptized, unlike before.

On MCGI Leaders
I believe that the work of the Church is good. I hope that they’ll be able to help many more and may they have longer life.

On Being Baptized
Now, I’m happy because I believe that I’m here in the right Church, that I’m serving the living God, that the teachings I learn and planted in me has made me good. I believe that my former life which had no direction now has. I’m thankful that I was given a chance to be called unto the true nation of God.

I was able to hear Bro. Eli Soriano way back in 2000, at first via Internet. I watched his debates on Youtube and I was always delighted to hear his explanations.

But time came when I got lost from the right path. Months ago, I was able to listen again and I felt that I was being called already. I had many unrighteous deeds that, no matter what I did, I just couldn’t make right.

In watching Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel, they were able to answer the questions I had since I was a kid. The other questions I had in me that other people haven’t asked, they were being answered as I watched.

On MCGI Leaders
All I can say is that Bro. Eli, thanks. You’ve touched my heart and mind through the true teachings of God.

I feel happy now because before I was just always at home listening to Bro. Eli on radio. It’s been since two years ago, but I wasn’t able to find a locale. So I asked my granddaughter who’s taking nursing to help me.

I said to her that “Maybe you can find a worship place of the Church of God because I always listen to Bro. Eli and he said that you need to be baptized.” Then she pointed out a place to me. I went there by myself. They said to me there to get indoctrinated first. With God’s mercy in every day that I went there, I was able to finish the indoctrination sessions. They asked me, “Do you want to be baptized?” I said “Yes.”

When I got baptized, I couldn’t understand what I was feeling: I was crying and all and I couldn’t explain it. I thank the Lord Jesus because my dream of being baptized has finally come true.

My heart is happy that I was baptized before the Lord Jesus takes me. I was baptized in the Church even before He takes me as I am already old.

On MCGI Leaders
I’m really thankful Bro. Eli because I heard your preaching on radio, and now I’m in the Church of God. That’s why I’m very, very happy, because before the Lord takes me, I was baptized in the Church of God.

Bro. Eli, thank you very much for teaching the true Church of God. I’m really very happy that’s why I thank God. I’m also an Ilocano.
